Description: Exciting position available for experienced PC hardware technician with some networking exposure to provide support to network engineers. Job scope includes assisting engineers on server installations, workstation and application support and post sale service.
This is not a 9:00 to 5:00 job. Frequent evenings and very occassional weekend work is the norm.
Required skills: A+ Certification and 2+ years experience servicing computers in a network environment including application configuration and servicing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be self motivated and able to work as a member of a team. LAN Troubleshooting, Hardware Failure Diagnosis, strong organizational skills a must. 3 to 5 year network service experience.
Desired Skills: MSCE, CNE, Citrix and/or Terminal Server, Corel WordPerfect and NetWare expertise.
Non-Technical Skills:Good sense of humor, excellent customer relation skills, high degree of ethics, low absenteeism and tardiness, availability to work late on short notice.
