In role of Security Analyst, you will be part of a team charged to monitor the security of the infrastructure of our multi-campus network. This position will report directly to the Information Security Officer.
Responsibilities for this position include:
„h Scanning to detect modems and unauthorized devices;
„h Providing information security analysis and participation on security incident response teams;
„h Identifying suspicious and malicious activities, identifying and tracking malicious code, documenting events and incidents;
„h Reviewing firewall, access control, remote access, web filtering, proxy, and application log files and maintaining logging software tools;
„h Monitoring industry information for threats and delegating information to appropriate personnel for implementation.
Requirements:
„h Minimum of an associate¡¦s degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience or a bachelor¡¦s degree;
„h Thorough understanding of TCP/IP;
„h Experience with UNIX and firewalls;
„h IDS experience is also required; ISS is preferred;
„h Excellent documentation skills;
„h Excellent oral and written communication skills;
„h Ability to work in a team environment;
„h Reinsurance or Healthcare experience a plus;
„h Technical aptitude with the ability to solve complex problems;
„h Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities;
„h Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
