Anyone have any advice for how to investigate the criminal history of a
specific residential address? I have a pending offer on a house and later
learned the house next door is an abandoned, vacant former crack-house.
I talked with a really nice lady at the nuisance division, but those were
only nuisances - not crimes or arrests or complaints called into the police.
Thanks,
-M

Well there's portlandmaps.com, which presents some data, but it's
rather misleading because it doesn't include any necessary
corollary data, such as time frame, population density, etc.
There's tons of useful data there.

I realize this is off topic, but that's a pretty neat site. Went to it,
punched in my old home addresses when I was a kid, and presto! What a trip
down memory lane. Thanks

Yehh, I use portlandmaps a lot, but the crime reports are over 2 years old.
I called the nuisance division of hte Portland Police, and they gave me the
entire nuisance record over the phone.
