Description:
As a Perl Programmer, you will help develop Sophos's multilingual websites
in Object Oriented Perl. You will also be responsible for developing and
maintaining our website build and deployment systems. In addition to these
programming tasks, you will be expected to take the lead in tackling any
problems with our web applications during business hours and to work
closely with our IT department to diagnose and fix rapidly any problems
that affect website availability.
We require two Perl Programmers, one each for the Web department's
Frontline and Applications Teams. These position offer excellent

Required skills:
You will be an experienced programmer with specific expertise in writing
web applications in Object Oriented Perl. You will also have experience of
working with and troubleshooting our core web technologies of Perl, Apache,
mod_perl and Unix. We expect you will be a natural multi-tasker with the
communication skills that are necessary to work closely with members of
other departments.
Essential:
Experience writing web applications in Object Oriented Perl

Unix, preferably FreeBSD
