BlackStar.co.uk we deliver to over 150 countries worldwide. All operations
from programming and design to marketing and fulfillment are carried out
from our base in Dunmurry, Belfast.
The Development Team is involved in creating bespoke software solutions
which are used by every part of the business, including Stock Management
systems, Accounts, CRM, email handling and Customer Care systems - our
business is much more than 'just' a website.
Required skills:
Applicants must have 3+ years experience in a senior development role
working on a large database system (preferably MySQL).
The successful candidate will have demonstrable skills/experience in at
least 3 of the following :
o OO Perl
o MySQL
o Apache mod_perl
o Linux
o Source Control
o Regression Testing
Desired skills:
The successful candidate will have strong communication, analytical and
design skills. An enthusiasm for the job, imitative, flexibility and a
willingness to learn are essential. The role will see you working both
individually and as part of a team.
