Description:
A Client of A.C.Coy’s is looking for Two Perl Developers, to join their
organization on a Temp to Perm basis at their Pittsburgh PA location. One
position is at a senior level, one is at a Mid-Level. This client is
looking to move from a Perl development environment, to a Java/JavaScript
environment within 6 months, so this is an excellent opportunity for
someone who is interested in learning Java technologies. If interested,
please respond via email. Senior level position is paying between 65-75K
with full benefits, and Mid level position is paying between 45-50K with
full benefits. At this time, the client is not offering relocation.
Tasks include (but certainly aren't limited to):
- Application design and specification
- Software architecture design
- Web development
- Database development
- Problem modeling (using ClearBox)
- Requirements gathering
- Data scrubbing and preparation
- Client interfacing
- Custom report development
- Quality assurance
Required skills:
Skill set needed:
- Related education (CS, OR, Math)
- Strong programming experience
- Good understanding of software development process
- Ability to learn quickly (extremely important)
- Good communication skills
- Good problem solving capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Comfort with fast-moving, deadline-heavy projects
