Description:
Working in one of the world’s most creative interactive TV departments,
you’ll help with new application concepts, as well as providing timely
adoption documentation and technical advice to the editorial teams.
Required skills:
With a passion for delivering quality software, you’ll have experience of
some of the following environments: C, C++, PERL, XML, HTML, JavaScript,
Java, CGI and Linux.
Desired skills:
A background in OpenTV (SDK) or MHEG-5 is highly desirable, as is knowledge
of XP, Scrum and other agile development processes. You’ll also have ideas
on how the BBC’s output can be enhanced through its interactive offerings.
