Development on apache 1.3 has all but stopped , yet PHP is still not production-quality on apache2.
This should be a top priority. There are compelling reasons why apache users should switch to apache2, yet doing so compromises our use of PHP.
When can we expect PHP4.x/Apache2.x combination to be production-quality ? The " Do not use Apache 2.0 and PHP in a production environment neither on Unix nor on Windows. " warning is beginning to sound laconic....
I for one would be grateful to see PHP4/Apache2 officialised.
cheers
