Pretty bad news from this (my) household at the moment. Alison's mother
is seriously ill in hospital at the moment. On life support and not
expected to pull through this one. Alison has spent the last two days at
her bedside, and her sister from Canada flew in yesterday.
The doctor/consultant reckons within the next 24 hours she will probably
go into heart failure and they are not recommending resuscitation as all
quality of life would be gone. Two years ago Alison lost her Dad more or
less under these exact same conditions.
