I collect Towle's flatware pattern Georgian, which was first produced in 1898. From looking at ads & other ephemera, I believe that Georgian was produced up through WWII, when the Towle factories were retooled for war production. I have a brochure from just after the war showing the first dozen patterns that they were again producing, with Georgian included in another handful that they were planning on producing again once all of their plants were converted back to peacetime use.

However, I have no evidence that the pattern was really produced again until 1990.

I've contacted Towle a couple of times to ask whether they know if Georgian was
produced between 1946-1990, but have gotten no reply. Does anyone know how I might find out more about this?

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide.
