If anyone has any information concerning the figurine on the URL posted I would be most appreciative. The statuette is of a woman with her arms raised above her head and she is wearing only a skirt. (Kind of like a belly dancer) The statue is approximately 8 to 10 inches tall and is beautifully detailed. It was from the estate of a friends parents. Sorry I have no further information concerning the age of this piece only that it has a W with a crown on the underside. It can be viewed at http://artonio7.com/html/wedgewood.html

This is a Wallendorf Porcelain figure. The company has been around since about 1960. The figures are common, however always pricey. The are available today, and are collected much like any of the other figurines.
