Off to the flea in the wee hours...exhausting work....kudos to anyone who actually does this both days every weekend.

The flea market will be an exciting day though. My 9 year old is for the first time getting her own table and selling some of the things that she has picked up at tag sales and in shops this year, along with the things that she hand picked from my shop so that she'd have a full table. She wants to be an antique dealer when she grows up, for the moment anyway. That is of course subject to change at a moment's notice given her age.

She outdid me at the tag sales this morning.....while I was looking over some pottery, she walks up to me with her $1 purchase....a pair of Fostoria horse bookends. She's keeping them at home this time, deeming that she need's to do "more research" before she sells them. Obviously the few sentences in _Fostoria Useful & Ornamental_ wasn't enough for her.

Time to make breakfast & lunch and catch a few winks before it's time to hit the road.

Jessica

To update, the day was a smashing success. My little one had an $85 profit,
and is now reinvesting her "capital" and half of her profit. : ) I know I didn't have a profit like that the first time I did a flea market.
