Didn't you know that dog turds don't do that any more?
Seeing a dried white dog turd really would take me back in time. Folk
don't feed dogs butcher's meat or bones any more, and dog turds from
'Millers Working Dog Food - No VAT Tax' at £8 for 25 kilos (it costs me
£1 a week to feed two dogs to their total satisfaction) stay greyish
brown from the moment of birth on the yard gravel to final transfer, on
the sole of my shoe, into the living room where they really knew they
should belong.
They never dry because this is Scotland. Each shower revives them.

Don't knock it! Traquair House Ale is made only with authentic bear
turds. The famous Bear Gates have never been opened since 1715. That's a
long time to wait and when the time comes, they'll be able to brew
OCEANS of the stuff.
Reminds me I must email Lady C. I am supposed to have a stand at the
Traquair Fair and to be organising some wandering musicians, or maybe
even some fixed-location musicians. No paperwork has arrived yet. First
weekend in August, and watch out for the New Age Pensioners in the
teepees - some great music going on, but don't inhale.
Miller's Working Dog Food and Traquair Ale do have something in common -
they both depend pretty much on organic, argicultural, local produce. I
don't think there's a *lot* of meat in Miller's and the flaky grain and
bran and stuff in it would serve well for brewing. I was warned NOT to
give this to my dogs despite the cost, because it mainly sells to
shepherds, and shepherds don't give a flying shit if their dogs do.
First month was digusting. Long haired dogs with backsides looking like
undocked sheep. Then they get used to it, and clean up their act. Now
they eat nothing else and have TOO much energy by far.
Anyway, R H Miller probably as much land as Lady C, and has a lovely
daughter. I know that because she was manning the petrol station counter
as a summer job for her dad last year.
