WWII USMC Medical Bolo Knife w/ Sheath, Exc.
This WWII USMC Medical Bolo Knife with complete Leather Sheath is in
excellent + condition. It measures 16 ½" long and has a light wood grip held
by 3 brass rivets. The blade measures 2 ¾" wide at its greatest width. The
blade is marked, "USMC, Chatillon, N.Y. The blade is bright with absolutely
no rust or pitting. The sheath is leather having brass staples along the
edges and brass throat. The end of the sheath has a brass rivet. The
backside has a brass hook to secure to the belt. The sheath is clearly
marked on the backside, "USMC, Boyt, 44". Both knife and sheath are in
excellent + condition. The blade is still extremely sharp (original and not
resharpened). There is absolutely no damage and all stitching to the sheath
is intact.
